"Social distancing, also called “physical distancing,” means keeping a safe space between yourself and other people who are not from your household.

To practice social or physical distancing, stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people who are not from your household in both indoor and outdoor spaces."

Working with acclaimed Artist Mary Mattingly, we are challenged to make an object and then a collaborative shelter from a 5' x 5'7" isosceles triangle of found material.

Made of painter's plastic tarps, I hang my bag-like object from the ceiling and projection map an original video onto its surface.

Then Christine C., Donavan D., Rachel I., Jackie W., Brianna R. and myself install all of our objects to create a shelter while mapping and projecting each of our original videos onto its surface.

Materials include

Ropes, aluminum foil, various blankets and fabric, mosquito nets, plastic bags, plastic tarp, sticks & five original videos projected onto the surface.
